Happy mother's day...

This is a tribute to the most wonderful mother ever. Brenda Jo Crockett was born to Jack Crockett, JR and Ruth Inez May on October 22nd 1947. She had a very challenging childhood but was very loved by her parents and the light of their life. As a teenager she met a James Dean type boy named, Jerry Floyd Foster. A deep love unsued. On March 27th they were married. Five years later a beautiful baby girl Stacy Jo Foster was born into thier union on July 3rd 1970. Brenda worshipped this child and they were insanely close. Brenda and her mother Ruth were extremely close as was Stacy, Brenda and Ruth. My mother was the most important person in my life. She was the epitome of grace and courage. She endured many of lifes issues with a smile. She had unmistakeable pride. A pride that could be to her detriment. She was kind and genorous. She made the most influence on my life. Her life was tragically short. She was only 47 years old. She truly did not want to die. I could look in her eyes and tell the sorry she felt for her impending doom. Her family needed her so much. She was the rock that held our family together. She made the comment "I have lived a good life and I am not afraid to die" Of course the human side of me says " why my mama. I don't have anyone but her" and then I see people who have parents, grandparents still living and it makes me so sad. There is not a day that goes by without me thinking of her. She was the most wonderful woman ever in my heart. I still speak to her in my heart. Such as yesterday I thought to myself you would be so proud of me going to church. I could feel in my heart she smiled. And for those people who want to fuss about thier parents for whatever reason. Trade places with me. I would gladly love for my mom to but into my life. I love you so, so much Brenda Jo Crockett Foster Farrow
