TGIF......

I got a wonderful weekend planned. Tomorrow is a little school work, followed by a little shopping. We are heading to Ole Miss tomorrow to see the beautiful Mallarie Pitcher in the play Well. Saturday the game. I am so excited. Oh, and I am off till Tuesday.

New favorite product.....

I love love love the neutogena oil blotting sheets. I have extremely oily skin and hair and the oil on my face is atrocious. These are alot of fun to use (it's sick I know).

Really want a new header.....

I think I need a new header for my blog. I will be searching this weekend for a new blog header. I know this is boring but I'm kinda nursing a headache. Got to work the next 2 days.

Hernando...

I love Hernando so much. The people, the square, the atmosphere is wonderful. I went down there today to check out some of the boutiques. It almost made me want to get pregnant just looking at the darling baby clothes at Itty Bitty and Co. The plan is to put the house up for sale probably summer after next when Kelcy is a senior. After the house sells, we will move to Hernando. I am so excited. I plan to go tomorrow for some major shopping (if my money comes through). Oh, I picked up the first Christmas gift for Jacob.

TGIF.....big time.

I am so excited about the weekend. I plan on getting up early tomorrow and going to the farmer's market. Followed by a little shopping. Then tomorrow afternoon and evening heading to the Delta Fair and music festival. I really hate to miss the Ole Miss/Memphis State Game. I have pictures of Autumn's suprise birthday party. School is going well.

Natalie Morales looks great....

Natalie Morales' hair looks fabulous. I love the particular color, the highlights are impeccable.
On my days off I begin my day by drinking coffee and reading the commercial appeal. The Today show is playing in the background. Reading the paper is followed by computer timel, checking my email, reading my favorite blogs and checking myspace. Then, I go about my lovely day.

The fast and the furious......

Yesterday was such a wonderful day. We began the day with breakfast (cooked by husband), of course. Then we motored to Peggy's house for a BBQ consisting of hamburgers, hot dogs and homemade ice cream (yum-o).

The afternoon and evening was spent at the Holly Springs drag strip watching Tommy test and tune the mustang for the first time since it has been repaired. The nitros was not kicking in as expected so the run times were not that great. We put the top up on mustang sally and had a great evening.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste......

My oldest daughter and I registered for classes yesterday afternoon. She has decided to be a nurse (yeah). I am going back for my advanced degree BSN. She looked at the bulletin wrong and actually went a day late. She is taking A & P, A & P lab and online computer concepts. I am taking computer concepts, as well. I also bought her a new Dell computer and printer for school. It is pink (of course).

Damn, I'm good.....

First of all husband got up yesterday and cooked breakfast for us all. Bacon, eggs, sausage, and bisquits. Then, today he comes home from work (after I've been sitting on my butt all day) and cooks us BLT's with fresh tomatoes. I must be doin something right.

Now, we are headed out to cruise the town in Mustang Sally with the top down.

Beautiful stepdaughters.....

I have the most beautiful stepdaughter, Mallarie. She is very well-spoken, has beautiful skin and has the greatest hair on the planet. She is a theatre major and every story is given in vivid detail. This is my first (and last) step daughter. I couldn't have picked a better one.

Eyes of a superstar....

I am so loving the smashbox cosmetics waterproof eyeliner. I bought mine off of QVC which included a eyeliner brush. I am still a little wobbly putting on the lower lid, but I am a whiz at the upper lid. I got it in the midnight blue, too sexy.

I have not cooked in about three weeks. Cooking is one of my passions. In this Mississippi heat it is almost impossible to fire up the stove without burning up. Tonight, I decided to break the trend and cook. I made fresh blackeyed peas, collard greens, homemade mashed potatoes, cornbread and homegrown tomatoes. Suffice to say I have a very happy husband. When I fall I fall hard.......

I have always been bone thin. I mean 5.8 inches and weighing 130 pounds. Thanks to age and happiness I have blossomed a bit. I have been cutting back on food and exercising. Yesterday I fell off the wagon. For breakfast, I had a deluxe big breakfast from MacD's that includes the pancakes and off course a side order of gravy to go on the eggs. For lunch, I had a veggie potato from McAllisters packed with sour cream and butter. Then for dinner I had chicken crisper dinner. I can hear my jeans stretching.

Ronnie had a bad day yesterday. He tells me " you know you are going to have a bad day when this happens" preceeds to drop his pants revealing to me the entire ass of his boxers gone. Apparantly he had put them on backwards. When he knelt down he heard it rip (literally). This is too funny lol. LMAO

I love comfy sleepwear.....

The Nick and Nora line at target has some fabulous sleeping shirts. I love to lounge around the house in these shirts. The are so comfy and cute. They can be worn outside to get the paper in the morning. First, I bought the summer cocktail night shirt, it has pina coladas, margaritas and cosmopolitions. The second sleepshirt I bought was a diner themed sleepshirt. I purchased today a post cards sleep t that has cool post cards from the coolest places in the country to visit. Rush out today and get you one they are great.

The Dark Knight....

The dark knight was absolutely fabulous. He is a maniac who kills and causes destruction for no reason, not money, fame or women. Heath Ledger stole the show, his character is thrilling and evil. The mannerisms performed by Heath are remarkable. The incredible actor takes evil to another level, the ever so slightly taking his tongue out of his mouth and licking his lips. The running of his hands through his greasy hair. Christian Bale did a fine job as well, I didn't like the way that batman talked between his teeth (I realize why he did it but it got on my nerves). Aaron Ekhart was fabulous, his character went from good to evil, you loved him, you hated him.

Rush to your nearest theatre to see this movie. It is fabulous.

Yes officer, guilty as charged, assault with toilet paper...

Ronnie and I were watching tv a couple of days ago. He was aggravating me so I decided to go to bed. I needed some toilet paper from the 3rd bathroom. As I was walking by he asked me "what are you thinking about". I said " I was thinking how I would love to hit you in your big head with this toilet paper." He replied, with arm wide open "come on, come on you got a big target." I responded by hurling the toilet paper and smacking him right in the face. It was hilarious. What can I say, I do not throw like a girl......

Look out Martha Stewart.....

I am so very excited. I saw the very first tomato on the vine. I have painstakingly watched and nurtured the vines through this mississippi heat. I really thought they might not survive. The precious vines are hanging from my fence post. I purchased these little tomato growers from QVC. Dining in the future will contain my home grown beauties.

Time with family and friends.....

We had a great time visiting with my brother Jerimy, Angela and the girls. We grilled out hamburgers. I dearly love my family.
